while desribing your part dont use these words (We, I, or the words that claims to be urself or service oriented, )  Decribe your website not services or products, if your website is non profit, Use Non profit with name title.

In the URL use main website URL (Sorry, We are not accepting deep links)

Once you submit give us proper time to review the proposal. Genrally we take Maximum 1 week to review.

Dmoz that is (Directory.mozilla.org) is the most important directory more important than $299 listed Yahoo. Another Name of dmoz is Open directory Project.

It is human edited Directoryand running through Volunteers (Means not getting any payment ) that’s why It is quite hard to get into the Dmoz. its Evalutive Procedure may takes place in several of years.

Once you got rejection you were not able to knwo that either selectet or rejected. Wait But when till. thats why I have created DMOZ FDP working on the pricinple of DMOZ and evalution method is quite same as DMOZ ODP but we approve the list fast.

Welcome to DMOZ Blog. This is first post at DMOZ. DMOZ (FDP) It’s come in existence since  2009-03-25. 

Why It has been created DMOZ (FDP) and why people hates other directory Project (ODP)? Both have same answer.

People are irriate of other  directory Project (ODP) with the following reason.

- Slow approval process that can at times take Literally years for a website to be reviewed.

I have a word Evolution (means a slow gradual changes occurs in years) it suits for Gentics not for a directory. that’s why we have decided we shall submit in directory in 1 to 4 week as we’ll work under the guidelines too.

-If a website is rejected, Most of the time the webmaster does not get notified. So webmasters keep waiting

We shall notify in both cases either in submission and rejection.

-Many allegations of Editor abuse. It has been alleged by many that most editors only apply to edit because they have a business interest in certain categories, and when they get control of those categories they start restricting entries of legitimate websites to reduce competition to their own listed sites (or the sites of their business associates).  read in the blogs for more about it DMOZ EXTORTION &  Read more editor want money;  and there is several occasion when webmaster is disappointed.
